This month we turn the spotlight on Co-Founder, Eric Gillain.
An experienced multi-cultural executive with a background in healthcare and consumer goods, Eric’s experience includes leading the Global Marketing Services organization for Novartis Pharma, driving the OTC business unit in France and managing several product categories for Roche and Procter & Gamble. As CEO of Celena GmbH, his roles have now turned to team coaching, strategy development and compelling communication of clear proposals to get to better decisions faster. His interventions have covered audiences across commercial and scientific functions, with participants from junior managers to experienced senior executives. He has extensive experience working with teams in Marketing, Medical and Development.
We have asked Eric about what inspired his involvement with Axxelis:
What drew you to Axxelis ?
As an independent consultant having successfully built my business over the last 4 years, I came to realize that what was missing was the ability to share my experiences with others and increase my bandwidth with my customers. So when Alex came up with the idea of Axxelis, I naturally bought into the concept and we co-founded the company. The opportunity to create a network of experts offering actionable consultancy and leadership across a broad range of services in Pharma made perfect sense to me. And I could see how it could benefit my clients.
As a co-founder I obviously have a keen interest in the development of Axxelis. I see the potential to enrich my own offering with the expertise of the network and contributing to other experts’ work. All for the benefit of the client, who gets a more holistic view. And for the benefit of the experts as well, who can take on bigger assignments than if they were on their own. So I see the relationship growing steadily in the future.
